Building a Family In Tough Times

Building a Family In Tough Times

The country's economy is struggling so much that women are quite possibly having fewer children as a result. A report published last month by the Centers for Disease Control likens the trend to the Great Depression's fertility rates.

My patients feel the pain. If getting pregnant the old fashioned way is harder now, imagine what it's like to need special fertility treatment in order to have a baby.

In that light, I'm currently offering a big discount on IVF:$7995 through November 30th.

Because Houston Fertility Center has its own state-of-the-art laboratory, I'm able to provide the highest quality reproductive medicine services at more affordable prices. And since this is the time of year when people living in the Houston area are caught between high electric bills (for air conditioning!) and impending holiday season expenses -- it seems like the best time of year to make family-building a reality for so many.

Hang in there!

Hi, my name is Suzie. I have been trying to get pregnant and have a healthy baby since I was 26. I am now 31. I had a miscarrage the first time and then the dr. said I almost died the second a few years later( eptopic, right tube gone). I am in the process of adopting my step-daughter (10 yrs. of living hell) coming to an end, thank God. I just modified my home loan which will be a huge adjustment considering we were behind quite a bit.( 2 yrs. of HUGE worry) I don't have but $400 left a month to save considering I am unemployed. After all the stresses of life one dr. told me he was sure I had a mutiple sclorosis even after the tests were negative.( Lost my career of 10 yrs. hairdressing due to misdiagnosis) I went to two fertility doctors still hopeful. The first removed a septum that the second said was never there. ( a hsg proved to be correct since hsg was taken right after eptopic.) The second tried clomid but I read the instructions wrong and proceeded with IUI ($500 mistake) lol. I have tried accepting that I may never have children and to be happy with what God has given me but I have always been a winner and never want to give up.( I just don't want to die doing it. ( being from stress of money or trying to have a baby through a "damaged" tube. Just thought I'd put it out there and see what happens. You have helped to of my friends but I just couldn't stand the heartache again.
